Mark and I are still working on what we might build on the property. We have cooled off on our conversations lately on it just because there is not a whole lot we can do right now anyway (financially that is).
We are still researching what we can and can't do, but it would be awful nice if we find out if we can build a tiny home:
We did find out that York County SC doesn't have a total home heated square foot requirement. The square foot requirement is stated more on a room basis than a total house basis. This should allow us to go under the Rock Hill City requirement of 850 total heated sq. feet requirement if we decide to.
So this is exciting news. We can try to move a little more forward with our plans now that we know that. We are still investigating rammed earth and cob home building methods. See the next couple of blog posts for an explaination of those building methods.
