Color Inspiration: Blue

One thing I love about design is color. The entire spectrum of color amazes me. In this series of posts I'll explore colors and what I feel about that color, what memories come to me from that color, my favorite things, etc. Included with each post is a link back to my pinterest boards where i've collected all sorts of things with that color as the primary color.

The first in this installment is Blue. I love blue as a color. I especially love blue when it occurs in nature naturally. Bright vibrant blues are exciting and are a feast for the eyes.

Blue reminds me of my husbands eyes. Such a pretty rich blue like the ocean. This color also reminds me of my son and youngest daughter who each of their eyes opppose each other. My son's eyes are a dark, rich blue while my youngest daughters eyes are a very light blue. (I'll get to my middle child when we visit green.)
